Free lance consultant in technical assistance for 10 years, I took pleasure to meet many professionals of finance, development, microcredit in several countries of Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa.
The performed missions were covering the training fields, in various domains of finance management, the internal control structure & audit, or the risk management.
The consulting duties were mainly focused on the prevention of the risks and the internal control organisation within the financial institutions.
Having gained a strong background in audit and internal control, I have been taught with the concepts of the microfinance during a summer seminar in Boulder, Colorado, Economic Institute, in 2000.
Since then, I remain convinced that the success story linked to this instrument belongs to the beneficiary populations and to the real professionals and not to the donors technocrats.
