    Paris 2007 - maintenant SES ASTRA is the leading Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite system in Europe, delivering services to some 107 million Direct-to-Home and cable households. The ASTRA satellite fleet currently comprises 13 satellites, transmitting more than 1,700 analogue and digital television and radio channels.     I was a Consultant with the Frost & Sullivan EMEA – North America ICT Practice. I completed several research studies and consulting projects on satellite communication systems, HDTV services, next generation networks and IP convergence applicative markets.

    For instance, I led a custom project aimed at helping a broadband satellite operator measure the addressable market for rural telephony services and help his client raise the necessary funds for launching the venture.

    I managed several research projects in areas such as rural telecommunications and satellite video broadcasting.
    My areas of expertise are: Satellite Video Markets, HDTV, Rural Telecommunications, Satellite Finance, Hybrid Telecommunication Networks, Satellite Broadband Service, Emerging Satellite Applications, and Remote Sensing.

    In the space industry, I have contributed to strategic consulting projects for space market participants, including: market forecasting for video applications and Internet trunking transponder lease demand and advising on entering rural telephony markets in developing regions.

    I also developed extensive knowledge of the terrestrial broadband networks market. Some of the key industry issues I addressed include fixed and mobile convergence, broadband wireless technologies and mobile services.

    I was live interviewed on CNBC and Bloomberg Europe and have received acclaim for my research through articles and quotes published in ViaSatellite, telecomWeb, Shorecliff Communications, SatelliteNews among others.

    Prior to this, I was an independent trade specialist. I bringht from this my cross-cultural project management experience along side business planning and market opportunities analysis skills.

    After joining Frost & Sullivan in Palo Alto, California, I was based in Paris.
