Before joining KPMG Advisory in October 2006, Pascal worked 1 year as an auditor for KPMG Audit Luxembourg.. Specialized in auditing funds and banking clients, Pascal acquired and enhanced valuable expertise in NAV calculation verification and compliance assignments

As Assistant Manager within KPMG Advisory, Pascal has contributed to strategic projects in the banking sector with a specific focus on investor services banking and securities-related activities.

Pascal has proven valuable skills on IT banking systems implementation and selection activities in Luxembourg and Canada (Toronto).

Previous client experience includes:
- For a major strategic program (global custody system implementation), Pascal was the test leader of the corporate action module in charge of the planning of the testing phase, the preparation and execution of the test scenarios in order to identify any potential bugs occurring in the new custody application platform.
- For the same program, Pascal provide high quality deliverables during the requirement capture phase (specialized in announcement capture scrubbing and cleansing, Swift MT56X and Corporate Action data providers)
- For a Luxembourgish bank, Pascal assisted the client in selecting a credit banking system. Pascal organized workshops and prepared business scenarios in order to assess the requirement coverage by the provider.
- For a Dutch bank, Pascal did a compliance review (Anti-Money Laundering)

As an auditor assistant, Pascal was involved in various international audit teams and he took early responsibility and shared knowledge within various international colleagues.
He successfully applied KPMG’s audit methodology and creatively collaborated with colleagues and clients.
He was specialized in the audit of financial and industrial companies:
• Funds (The European Asset Value Fund SICAV, The Rapala Group Sepcav, The Paulig Group Sepcav, Momentum Funds, Tortoise Investments, Degroof Funds),
• Private banks (Fortis Investment Management, Credit Suisse Asset Management, Banque Commerciale du Portugal, Puilaetco Dewaay)
• Commercial and industrial companies (Tarkett Luxembourg S.A., TDK Recording Media Europe S.A.)
During these various audits, Pascal performed the relevant audit procedures (analytical reviews, Trial Balance – Financial Statement reconciliation, audit of transactions and account balances, bank confirmations, analysis of board minutes and legal documentation, compliance reports)
